SABA is a special municipality of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Five square miles of tranqullity awaits the visitor who wishes to explore this quaint, beautiful island of 1,824 people.  There are four villages on this, €The Unspoiled Queen” of the Caribbean:

The Bottom which is the Capital and also the largest village.  Windwardside, the second largest village is the shopping and tourist district.  Hell's Gate is the clsoest village to the airport.  St. John's is mainly residential.

You can get to SABA in 90 minutes by sea and 12 minutes by air from the neighbouring island of St. Maarten. Going to Saba by air is certainly not for the faint of heart. The runway at its Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport is only 400m in length and reputed to be the shortest commercial air strip in the world! But visitors can rest assured that their landings and take-offs will be expertly executed as there have been no accidents during any of the five flights to and from Saba daily.

Ferry Schedule can be found here www.sabactransport.com

It is pleasant to note that with little or no crime, Saba is considered to be one of the safest places in the world.
